Heidi H. Raschke is Of Counsel at Butler Pappas.
Heidi devotes her practice primarily to the defense of first party property insurance coverage and extra-contractual matters. Prior to joining Butler Pappas, Heidi practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia, representing commercial property insurers in large, complex first- and third-party coverage matters and other clients in business litigation and intellectual property matters. In addition to practicing in Florida and Georgia, Heidi has represented clients in Federal Courts throughout the country.

Heidi is a member of the Florida Bar, the Georgia Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association (ABA). Heidi currently serves as a Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association, Tort and Insurance Practice Section, Property Insurance Law Committee. Heidi is admitted to practice in the States of Florida and Georgia, as well as several United States District Courts, including the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia. Heidi is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Heidi received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Florida State University in 1996, and her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in 2001, where she was an Associate Editor of the Emory Law Journal.

Extended Biography

Heidi has spoken about various first party property insurance coverage issues at several seminars. In September 2008, Heidi was a speaker at the PLRB/LIRB Central Regional Adjusters Conference in Des Moines, Iowa and presented on "Ethics for Adjusters." In May 2009, Heidi was a speaker on "Valuation Provisions Under a Builder's Risk Policy" at the American Bar Association - Tort and Insurance Practice - Property Insurance Law Committee meeting in Austin, Texas. Heidi co-presented the "Property Insurance Case Update" at the Loss Executives Association Annual Meeting in Tampa, Florida in January 2012. In April 2012, Heidi was a Program Co-Chair of the American Bar Association - Tort and Insurance Practice - Property Insurance Law Committee meeting in La Jolla, California on "Business Interruption Issues in Catastrophic Claims." Heidi has also participated in presenting in-house legal training programs to domestic and international clients.
