Jennifer's practice is primarily in residential and commercial first party property coverage. She has experience with hurricane damage, defective construction, arson, theft, fire, and water seepage claims. In addition, she has experience with high value claims and litigation.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2007. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law in 2010. During law school, Jennifer was a Goldstein Scholar, Peer Leader, Grade Appeal Panelist, and served two terms as the Environmental Law President. She also received her Certification in Environmental and Land Use Law, with honors.
Prior to joining Butler Pappas, Jennifer worked as Assistant General Counsel for the Office of Insurance Regulation. In this role she had the opportunity to gain a unique insight and experience into the regulation of insurance companies in the State of Florida, including the opportunity to draft legislation pertaining to surplus line insurers.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
