Michael J. McLaughlin is an Associate at Butler Pappas.
Michael graduated from Arcadia University, B.A. and in 2004 and obtained his J.D. in 2008 from Temple University. He focuses his practice on first party coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, and arson and fraud investigations. Michael has successfully represented insurers in a variety of complex coverage disputes in both state and federal courts. He has significant experience in oral argument, drafting pleadings and briefs, and deposing insureds and public adjusters. Michael has taken Examinations Under Oath of policyholders and drafted coverage opinions on complicated matters. Michael has attended numerous inspections of residential and commercial properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Michael previously worked as a law clerk for Judge Susan Peikes Gantman of the Pennsylvania Superior Court, where he had primary research and writing responsibilities on appellate matters. Michael is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
