Ms. Pero is a senior associate practicing primarily in the extracontractual and fire and theft departments of Butler Pappas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1987. After graduation, she worked as a paralegal in Buffalo, New York, for approximately two years before attending law school. In 1992, Ms. Pero received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Akron where she also served as Research Editor for the Akron Law Review.
Ms. Pero practiced liability defense for approximately four years with a Tampa law firm before joining Butler Pappas in 1997. She has been admitted to practice law in New York and Florida since 1993, and she has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida since 1995.
Ms. Pero is a member of The Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
