Thomas A. Keller is the Hiring Partner at Butler Pappas.
He practices primarily in the defense of first-party property insurance coverage and extra-contractual matters. Tom received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from St. Norbert College in 1995 and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1998.

Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Tom practiced commercial and business litigation and was a senior staff attorney with the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida.

Tom is a frequent lecturer on a variety of first-party property insurance coverage issues. Over the past five years, some of the topics he has lectured about include changes in condominium insurance coverage, changes in Florida first-party property insurance laws, adjusting sinkhole claims, and fraud in claims for sinkhole, hurricane, flood and other natural perils. He has lectured at various insurance companies and organizations including, the South Florida Claims Association, the International Association of Special Investigation Units at its national conference, and Underwriters from Lloyds, London.

Tom is a member of The Florida Bar, The Wisconsin Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and has been admitted in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, the Northern District of Florida, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
