Troy Seibert joined Butler Pappas in 2010 after practicing 12 years in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has concentrated his practice on litigating first-party insurance coverage matters. Prior to joining Butler Pappas, Troy handled a wide variety of insurance coverage issues, including numerous large, complex matters in state and federal courts across the country. Troy also has significant experience litigating reinsurance and subrogation cases, general commercial disputes, and products liability and construction matters.
Troy was selected Rising Star by Minnesota Law and Politics in 2005 and 2006. As an active member of the ABA Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, he serves as the Editor of the Natural Catastrophes Hot Topics Pod, which can be found at:
Troy is admitted to practice in the states of Florida and Minnesota, as well as several United States District Courts, including the Southern District of Florida, and the Districts of Minnesota, Northern Illinois, and Colorado. He graduated magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1998, and received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, cum laude, in 1994.
